Patience is a virtue i've never really had a lot of. I'm torn because many people are advising me to just call them every day and check. But, i'm afraid if i do that then they will get annoyed and take even longer to take care of my stuff. I guess i'll just continue to stick with my "all good things come to those who wait" and just let it happen when it happens. However, that doesn't mean i'm not totally annoyed.
But, at this point we've wasted so much of our summer assuming i'd be having surgery, that I want to just enjoy the rest of the summer since i pretty much know i won't have surgery till September anyway.

I think you are right about not calling every day. Once every 2 weeks or so would do better. If you want to enjoy the rest of your summer with the family, go for it. Hope you guys get lots of camping and fun in... looks like it is hot in NY!

I'm so sorry Sarah. I mean seriously, it's been a month! I would be frustrated, too. But I do also think you're taking the best approach. I know sometimes for my work we say "the squeaky wheel gets cut off the wagon!" - people who call constantly, it just makes us not want to work on their stuff. We of course still do, but we sure don't go above and beyond when we have been irritated :)
